Herakles Knot Earrings

These earrings are based on a pair of imperial Roman era earrings in the Louvre (BJ 354), with a double hook earwire (a deviation from the Louvre originals but keeping to period styles).
Please note: there are visible solder marks on the Herakles knots and these are made using two slightly different brass alloys. Please look carefully through the photos before purchasing.
The knots will move around a little- some extant examples are fused, but most do not appear to be. The wire is untreated and will develop a patina with age and wear, and may react with some people and environments.
