Small Bronze Hoops with Amethyst and Garnet Drops

These are delicate earrings, with hoops based on several different extant Roman earrings, of styles dating to the 1st-4th centuries CE, combining the best features for wearability. The drops are amethyst and garnet beads.
These earrings are relatively small, with a total length of about 1.25 inches. The earwire is 20 gauge, and is initially somewhat soft (half-hard), but will harden a little more every time they’re opened to put on.
The wire is untreated and will develop a patina with age and wear, and may range from a bright gold tone to a rose gold or warm brown, sometimes in the span of a day. It’s a bronze thing. Regular polishing is recommended to maintain a bright color.
