Three Pearl Roman Style Chandelier Earrings

These earrings are based on a style of ancient Roman earrings that pops up in the first century BCE and continues to be attested into the third century CE (British Museum 1842,0503.1 and Louvre Bj 427).
These were made using white cultured freshwater pearls, red brass wire, and brass clover-shaped findings. The two brass alloys are close in color, but not exact matches. The earrings measure about 2 inches and length. The pearls are 7mm-8mm in diameter.
The metal is untreated and will develop a patina or tarnish with age and wear, and may react with some people and environments.
