This design was based on ancient earrings excavated in Serbia, using 10-12mm cultured freshwater pearls and either bronze or sterling silver wire. They hang about 7/8” from the ear.
The wire is untreated and will develop a patina with age, wear, and the elements. These earrings are modern replicas, not antiquities.
