These earrings are made using five-sided emerald green Czech glass beads, 20 gauge stainless steel wire, and bronze wire (for the bead drop), and are based on several different pairs of ancient Roman earrings in the British Museum. The stainless steel is a modern twist- I do make these in all bronze, but bronze tends to react with sweat and sunscreen and turn green, so these are a sensitive ear, summer event-friendly update to the classic style.
They measure about 1 5/8” long, with hoops which are about 3/4” in diameter. This varies a little from pair to pair, since they crafted by hand.
