Sterling SIlver, Amethyst, and Pearl Ancient Roman-Byzantine Style Necklace
These necklaces are based on necklaces dating to late antiquity/early medieval (late Western Rome, early eastern Rome) periods and use 6-7 mm white cultured freshwater pearls, amethyst beads which are generally about 12mm x 9mm x 4mm, with a bit of variation, and sterling silver wire, including a handcrafted Roman-style hook and eye clasp.
Each necklace comes out a slightly different length, so please select the exact length you would like, and reach out if you would like a custom length.
The necklaces currently in stock are 14 3/4 inches long and 18 7/8 inches long, sold individually (though they do look great layered together- and many encaustic portraits show 2-3 necklaces being worn at the same time).
