These earrings were made using 20 gauge bronze wire and 6mm glass (faux) pearls that are a warm, soft, almost pink tinged off-white. It combines beautifully with the bronze.
This style is based off of an extant Roman earring in the Thorvaldsens Museum collection (H1828), dated "0-200". They're a little bit bigger than the original, at about 1" in diameter.
The wire is untreated and will develop a patina with age and wear. There will be some variation between pairs- nature of being handmade.
