250 Commemorative Reflecting Pool Neckace (Unofficial) #3

$46.00

Celebrate the 250th with a piece of jewelry commemorating the algae and peeling blue liner drama of the reflecting pool. 10% of gross sales from this special necklace collection will be donated to the ACLU.

Hand hammered copper, patinated green on one side and painted with “American Flag” blue cold enamel on the other, on stainless steel chain with green Czech glass beads, which are very pretty but also do a good job of resembling algae. It measures just over 18” long, and closes with a stainless steel hook and eye clasp. The copper focal measures about 1 1/4 inch wide.

One of a kind. I do have more copper focals of this shape and style in the works, though, so there will be more like this one.

This necklace will likely arrive still smelling slightly of paint, and the paint job is imperfect, just like the reflecting pool. The odor will dissipate in time. Until then, please refrain from dousing it in hydrogen peroxide. (Both sides of the focal are thoroughly and properly sealed.)

No reflecting pools were harmed in the creation of this necklace.
