250 Commemorative Reflecting Pool Necklace (Unofficial) #10
Celebrate the 250th with a piece of jewelry commemorating the algae and peeling blue liner drama of the reflecting pool. 10% of gross sales from this special necklace collection will be donated to the ACLU.
Hand hammered copper, patinated green and splotched with “American Flag” blue cold enamel, hangs from stainless steel chain with a hook and eye clasp. The chain measures about 22 1/4” long, with the “Y” dangling another ~3”. The hammered and enameled focal measures about 1 1/4” long by 7/8” wide.
One of a kind.
This necklace will likely arrive still smelling slightly of paint. Any odor will dissipate in time. Until then, please refrain from dousing it in hydrogen peroxide. Both sides of the focal are thoroughly and properly sealed, though the enamel along the left side is a little weird (if it starts chipping, please send drop me an email- even if it is on theme, I’ll do what I can to fix/reseal it).
No reflecting pools were harmed in the creation of this necklace.
